My phone had a weird message and restarted on its own...What is going on?

Alright so a little extra information: I'm sitting at the computer talking to my mom about how she woke up last night because the radio turned on randomly...two separate times... and she heard pots and pans moving around in the kitchen. We thought it was so weird and so I was actually googling "why does my radio turn on by itself?" and looking at answers...some people said stuff about how its haunted (possible?) or it has a self timer (no because it was at two different times). As i'm looking i see my phone light up with message that I could only quickly read to be something like the following: Program success. Phone will be resetting." This seems like too much of a coincident and I researched US Cellular phones looking for some kind of message like that and found nothing...how freaky right? So what do you think? Anybody know why the radio would turn on by itself and as I'm looking up the answer my phone would do that?
